This summer marked an exciting (and slightly nostalgic!) milestone for mrs L cards. I made my return to wholesale! When I first started mrs L cards 12 years ago, I actually began with wholesale. But as a complete newbie to running a business, I didn’t quite know the etiquette, like following up with stockists or balancing it all. Before long, online orders took over my time and wholesale quietly slipped away.
Over the years, though, I’ve learned so much, especially how to streamline my processes. Fulfilling online orders has become quicker and easier, which means I can now focus on both sides of the business and give wholesale the love it deserves.
In June, I officially relaunched my wholesale collection on Faire and it’s been an absolute joy! I’ve connected with some wonderful stockists who share my passion for thoughtful, hand finished designs and my cards are now sitting on the shelves of some really beautiful gift shops across the UK.
So far, my anniversary and birthday cards have been the best sellers, which is no surprise as they’ve always been customer favourites. Every order packed for a stockist feels like a little celebration, thinking about where the cards will go and how they’ll inspire someone to say just the right thing.
