At the weekend I had a nice card order to get ready for Halo Gift in Whitley Bay. Halo is a great little gift shop and cafe in the town where I live and Im over the moon that they are stocking my cards. This summer Ian is stocking lots of goods from local artists and designers which I think is a wonderful idea, there are lots of talented people in the North East.
All my cards are printed at home which means I have to cut them all out and stick any necessary buttons on to them. I spent Saturday afternoon doing this and singing along to the Ministry of Sound 80s electronica CD. Its a good job its a triple CD as I was there a while!
Here are the cards all laid out and ready to be made, coloured buttons at the ready!
The buttons have been added to the cards and dry overnight...
When dry, finished and wrapped.
Next, a welcome tea (and cake) break!
And finally here are my card in Halo...
